This book puts a face (many faces) on the Drug War. It shows that the War on Drugs is really a War on Americans and affects innocent people. The real victims are women, children, AIDs sufferers, people sentenced to long-term mandatory minimums without any prior offense, and those "inadvertently" killed during drug raids.
