Comment: Northampton is very trendy, very expensive. Greenfield, Mass is where it''s happening now.
Greenfield has lots of cheap apartments in really cool old houses at half the price of Noho or Amherst. Lot''s of hippies, artists, musicians. Easy to hook up.
Cafe Koko, Greenfields Organic Market, the Peoples Pint. Or camp along the Green River - a great place we skinny dip at.

Comment: Northampton is a very cool town. Pretty downtown, lot''s of live music, dance, cool shops. Definitely need some cash to have a good time, though. One of the best things about Northampton is the neighboring town of Easthampton. There''s a community there called Touchstone Farm, which has a beautiful studio dedicated to sacred circle dance. Even though they are quite small, they are always open to new community members.
