The classic of psychedelic literature. Based on Huxley's experiences with mescaline and how it "opened the doors". Yes, the Doors named their group after this book.

My Score:

Comment: I have read this book several times, it really opens your mind. It comes at the subject by all angles, and is a really detailed account of the experience of mecelin. The style in which Huxley writes just makes it that much more interesting to read. I love this book and it is easy to see why the band took its name from this awesome piece.

My Score:

Comment: This book is an incredible documentry of the mind inspired by mescaline. I have at one time or a nother come across the same thaughts in my mind and was astounded to find somone else pondering the same open space of the mind. Some of the concepts discribed by Aldous Huxley, were so accurate and mind blowing that it sent me into hours of searching deep thoughts and pushed me to crave the experience more and more.
