There is a hippy type community....no phone lines there. it is an oasis in the dessert....many trees....you would be surprised at this place...i live there and it is awesome.....we ask that we are contacted prior to someone showing up....$2 a day ....camping spots limited....you can write to windspirit community, 4514 e. dripping springs rd. winkelman az 85292.

Comment: incredibly lush and tranqil environment....everyone was clear-eyed and friendly....it did seem like a desert oasis, and one which I am planning on returning to. thanks to kimmi, gregory, keith, ina, claire, robin, matthew et al!! marcus
