Hey, there are more than Mormons in Utah! Check out Moab sometime, you'll find plenty of hippies there! Sugarhouse is like a little hippie commune! Every Sunday people of all ages to go Liberty Park for the drum circle. People sell homemade smoking accesories, hippie clothes and hemp jewelry!

Comment: Hey,
Mormons don''t hate hippies, and mormons aren''t scary. Their belief system is very hippie friendly when it comes to metaphysical ideas.
Their doctrine is very interesting and open-minded if you get in conversations with the right folks.

Comment: Well, Utah is well known for the MORMONS, eeek! No really there are many cool hang out, camping spots, laid back people, and killer handmade goods. There are many folks in the Salt Lake, Payson, and Moab, who are one of a kind, many generation hippies. You should come check it out, but beware of the cops, hide your stashes very well. Peace and Love

Comment: Utah has some great stuff. The cops are scary. hide the drugs well. If you can keep a clean front going the people are frendly and their are lots of great camping spots. Their is sometimes Rainbow Gatherings by St Gourge

Comment: Yes, Utah is famous for the scary Mormons, however there is much fun to be had! Moab is a very groovy place and Salt Lake is slowly becoming a fun and funky town. The people are really nice for the most part, I have always felt very accepted there. There are some great coffee shops and vegetarian restaraunts. Also, there is a huge gay population in Salt Lake, believe it or not.....
