Comment: Springdale, and Zion itself, has become overrun with tourists from May through September. Property values and rents (if any are available) have skyrocketed. It is now a confirmed tourist town with people from all over the world. You may find a few hippies on the trails in the Park or in the backcountry, that''s about it. Springdale is pretty dead in the winter months.

Comment: Springdale is an amazing town at the entrance to Zion National Park. I had the wonderful opportunity to attend the "flyin zion" festival in 2001, outside of springdale on private acerage and it was absolutely awesome. A must see area with some of the most beautiful rock formations around. Beware the law enforcement is strict in this area. Many, many camping areas.
