(User Info ) | | First off, this conflict is more intresting then most people think. Capitalism basically focuses on a simple fact, 'You reap what you sow'. In a perfect form of capitalism, the harder you work, the farther ahead you get. However, just like with any politica or economic system, they never preform perfectly. If Socialism (and later communism) prefromed perfectly, everyone would be happy. Everything would be shared and no one would be better oof then anyone else. However, of coursethe perfect form never works. For communism to work you have to have a totally non-curropt person in a position of incredible power. And as everyone knows, ultimate power corrupts absolutly. So Socialism and Communism can never work. On the other side, Capitalism doesn't work, because one of great greed (or evil) can be in a position of great power, while a good person can be poor and never get ahead. And the reason this comes into play right now, is that bush is allowing a capitalistic drug company to poisen children and get away with it. So therefore capitalism come into play with out goverment. So this leaves us at a weird place. If the perfect society is impossible, what do we do. Well honestly, i don't know (I can't even drive yet lol) but I think that its a great think we have conflicting views and i think if we work together and compromise, then even if the perfect economic or political utopia is impossible, we can at the very least get the best thing we can get.
