no drilling for oil in Alaska is a temporary solution that would last less than a year. the solution is diplomacy and negotiation. the u.s. should stop trying to intimidate the world into handing over its resources and should participate in fair trade (something the u.s. has never even tried to do) to obtain the oil we need.
