(User Info ) | | I agree completely. People should not try to take things from each other. But as long as the system of owning land continues, the violence surrounding it will continue as well. The world would be much more peacefull and balanced if people would just share land and posessions. I also believe money is a bad system. If people just traded like we did before paper money was invented, I believe people would get along much better because this would do away with the leading reason for violence. |

(User Info ) | i totaly agree. like this war with afghanistan, they're just fighting fire with fire, which is predictably fruitless (as we've seen) and they're just wasting potloads of government money. and they still think they have something good going on since they're talking about keeping the troops there even longer. a war with iraq would be pretty much the same thing. senseless violence.

(User Info ) | | I would love for there to be no war, no bloodshed, none of that--as we all would. It tears me apart to even think of it. But at this point in time, sadly, this is not an option. This is not simply a matter of "winning." This goes way beyond that. Really and truly, as much as we are anti-war--think about the repercussions if we did NOTHING?? We would have a much worse situation then. I think the best thing we can do is hope that our leaders make wise decisions on behalf of our country. |

While not thrilled with the prospect of combat again, it must be realized that there are forces and factions that hate and will attempt to destroy our lifestyle out of religous zelousnous. The murder of innocent citizens cannot be tolerated. 9/11 aside, Mr. Hussein has used mustard gas against his own people. Reason and argument are fine and dandy, but only work if both sides are reasonable. We have given him yet another chance to comply with UN resolutions he agreed to in 1991. If we fail to back it up, expect to be attacked here, and bury friends, lovers. children in America.
