Rules: Write a short essay, at least 250 words. We will review all the entries each week and award a Free Copy of Skip Stone's new book to the best entry. One book will be awarded each week until the end of the millennium. The deadline for each week's entries is midnight, each Friday. Only one entry per person, please. 
You must submit a valid e-mail address to win, as we will contact you by e-mail. You must then provide a mailing address so we can send you your prize! Books will be mailed out as soon as possible. Overseas residents are encouraged to enter, books will be shipped to you too!

Judging: Skip will be the final judge and award the prizes. No one associated with Hip Inc. or any of its websites is eligible to win. In other words, the awards are issued strictly on merit based on the essay submitted.

Posting: All entries will be posted at the end of each week's contest.  By submitting the entry you allow Hip Inc. to publish your essay in any format it chooses including digitally on the Internet and in printed matter.  Writers retain all other rights to their work.
