Should Clinton be Impeached?
| I believe that the act of making love is beautiful, he lied because
people are so prejudice now that he did not know what to expect. I am sure
that there are many other people in high places that have also had relations
with other people than there wives or husbands. I think that it is totally
ridiculous that they even considered impeaching him. Everybody is so full
of hatred that they get mad when some one tries to bring a little bit more
love into their life. Mr. Clinton, all that I have to say is "keep on fucking!"
I think that there is no excuse for the impeachment of president Clinton. It seems to me that the whole process is a power struggle in the legislative branch. The fact that the impeachment process has continued thus far is an example of how the people are not being represented by the state. Between 60 and 75% of surveyed americans say that the trial should be stopped. Therefor the fact that it has continued shows that it is a government of the house and not of the people if Clinton is forced to resign I would have to believe that a coup d`etat has occurred. peace,
Yes, the whole sex thing is his own thing but when he lies it makes it illegal and if he doesn't get impeached thats just telling the whole country that the president is above the law I think the president should be impeached, however I don't think he should be removed from office. Let's face the facts. If it were me in his situation I would have lied also. I would not want my family to fall apart or the world to know I was not the great man they thought me to be. I can't blame the man one bit, he needed some love and affection, she came, they came, they had a good time. Now she needs to sit back, trip a little and take a couple hits on the monster huka bong and get on with it. Let the man go, he's only got a few months left and how bad can he screw up now. This isn't even a relevant question to ask. Clinton and congress are all part of the establishment. Anyone who gives a damn about the establishment isn't a hippy. should clinton be impeached? hell yes! he lied to his country, admitted it, then I recently heard him say something to the effect of: 'any sensible person could not believe that I could lie because I am the president' on marijuana: supposedly he "didn't like it, didn't inhale, never tried it again" - if he didn't inhale, how can he know whether he liked it? No I don't think Clinton should be impeached. I think it was the republicans trying to get him out because he is such a great president. Having a little fun every now and then isn't a reason to get fired. The only person who should know that or yell at him for it is his wife. I hate to rain on anybody's parade, but Mr. Clinton, with all his charm and charisma should not be in such a dignified office. Open your eyes please! The issue isn't sex, its all about the law and our chief executive upholding it, not breaking it. If we allow Mr. Clinton to go one breaking laws, even the ones dealing with sex and sexual harrassment, what will the next one get away with? If a president can break the law and go unpunished we are one step closer to tyranny. I invite all Clinton supporters to read the Magna Carta. An Example must be made for the future of this great country. The President of the United States should be held to a higher standard that the average man and he should be the one holding himself to that standard, not congress. Mr. President, do the honorable thing. Resign. NOOOO! Clinton hating Republicans have seized on the man's personal-sexual misdeeds and built with self righteous speech making into declarations of high crimes. In the months they have pursued and drummed these accusations to the public, this same body could have solved great problems, including election reform. Their grim faced noble sounding drumming of accusations naturally have many well meaning citizens parroting them because— who is going to answer to a mike in their face any sentiment but that they believe everyone should tell the truth. As if they always have? Who among us hasn't sinned? And who among us is willing to disrupt the country to railroad out a President they don't want though the majority of the voters want to stay, to do the job. Marian Coe No Way. Then after he's done have him serve what ever jail time anybody else would get for lying about getting a blowjob from someone other then his wife. Clinton should not be impeached for lying because anyone else that was but in that position would lie too. To entertain the notion that people today adhere to the same moral rigidity as those in the era of that icon of morality, Abraham Lincoln, is absurd. This is not to say that old Abe was cut from finer moral cloth than Bill Clinton, rather it is to say that those who surrounded him and protected him quite possibly were. Today's society thrives on dirty laundry, shock value, and devastation. We need it. We CRAVE it. Without it, we would surely perish. What better way to uphold one's own feeling of superiority (or at the very least one's own feeling of "see, I'm not THAT bad!") than to revel in the dastardly deeds of those we place on pedestals of public greatness? Impeach Bill Clinton? For what? For blowing it (no pun intended, you understand)? Maybe we should impeach Little Miss Monica for being a bubble-gum girlie girl who couldn't resist bragging about her conquest. Or we could impeach the delightfully gutless Linda Tripp for being a backstabbing bitch who's hiding behind her pathetic claim to preserve America's moral fiber. Better yet, let's impeach Hillary. "Stand By Your Man" was written long after old Abe and quite before Uncle Bill's reign of sexual indiscretion, and hey-guess-what the song was just as stupid then as it is now. Hillary should have walked out on the dork the minute he revealed his "inappropriate"-ness. Period. Any woman, any person, who allows the person they should be able to trust above all others to treat them with such disrespect should be publicly humiliated. And not at their own hands, as Hillary has so eloquently done, but at the hands of those carnivorous hyenas that perpetuate the success of rags like The Enquirer, as well as the Ivory Tower dwellers who "knew it all along". Old Billy Boy was wrong...wrong, WRONG, WRONG. No doubt. But to my knowledge he didn't call in sick to any meetings that were critical to the preservation of America and all she stands for in order to indulge in a little Monica a la Mode. World peace seems not to have suffered as a result, either, although there are certainly those who will hold firmly to the belief that if he'd spent his Monica time dealing with Saddam, we wouldn't currently be dropping explosive devices all around him because surely it would all have worked out by now. Face it America: She's a bimbo and he's a Two-Minute-Brutha at best...you do the math...now give it a rest. Should Clinton be impeached? Well besides lying to the people of the United States he also committed obstruction of justice and tampering with evidence. Some people think that he's being impeached because he had sex with Lewinski, but that's how most of these charges were brought against him. If that's the only reason why Ken Starr took the case then he should read some history books. Look at John F. Kennedy. He had an affair why wasn't he impeached? Because he didn't lie about it. It wasn't just Clinton's fault for the affair either. I mean come on how many women out there are going to save a dress that a man ejaculated on? She didn't even have it cleaned so she should be at fault too not just Clinton. I would think nothing of it but if he lied to the American people under oath than how many other things has he lied about to us?? Can we really trust our President, the so called leader of "the Free World?" Trust is something you earn and Clinton would have to pull a miracle out of his ass to save himself. Yes, because when he ran for president he should have known better than to use his higher standards to commit adultery,and now that he has betrayed and lied to the world and his own family it is time he took responsibility for his discrete actions! I don't think that clinton should be impeached. I think that he made a mistake, and he is still a great president. I think that we should leave his personal life alone. I don't know but I think what the president does in his private life is none of the worlds business, he may have lied to the American people but it isn't as though his lie is life threatening. If he had lied to us about bombs killing us or a deadly disease we would have more a reason to care about what Clinton says or does. Sincerely, I hope we do the right thing. word up, and peace out! I think a natural consequence should be enough punishment, let the man stay. I think that President Bill Clinton should get impeached for he commited pergery and any other person would be put in jail for doing that. Just because he is the president, I don't think that he should be given any leaniance. If it was the first time and he hadn't lied about it then, we might think different.
