The War on American Soldiers

I am currently watching as more and more numbers get piled on to the already large number of soldiers here in Iraq. I still ask myself why I'm in Iraq. Fighting for something that I don't even know about. I wish I could say that I understood why we're here. Maybe oil, maybe something else. Either way, it doesn't justify all the lives that have been carelessly lost here. I can only pray for the families that have lost much of their lives because of this needless war.

I feel sorry for all of the young soldiers here that may not get the chance to do many of the things that a lot of people take for granted. If I could quit the army, I would. I no longer believe that the values which were installed in me when I first joined the army are any longer a lifestyle, not even practiced very often. I do however have a great respect and admiration for my country, which is why I stay and fight for the freedom that hangs so delicately in the new millenium. If we can't still believe that there is some hope for everyone out there, then there is no reason why we should keep on fighting.

Stupid White Men...and Other Sorry Excuses for the State of the Nation! by Michael Moore

Michael Moore does it again! This time his target is George Bush and the old Republican guard surrounding him. He's as merciless as he is funny! This book will make you laugh and make you cry. Moore has dug up the dirt on Bush for everyone to see. The Bush people tried to stop the publication of this book, and are still trying to keep it out of circulation. #1 Amazon.com bestseller! Read it before it's too late!
